Rappers, AKA and Da L.E.S, squashed their beef while performing Live on stage at CottonFest.
We might say Riky Rick’s influence on SA Hip Hop will never die. While speaking at the rapper’s funeral service, Cassper Nyovest revealed that the late SA Hip Hop star had planned to bring him out at CottonFest this year and show fans that they’d ended their beef.
AKA and Da L.E.S have now torn pages from Rick’s book. During AKA’s performance, he brought the latter to the stage, and they ended their beef. They both performed the songs Real Stuff and All Eyes on Me. Fans were stunned to witness this.
It is still unclear what led to their falling out. However, they had made it clear with diss songs that they weren’t friends. L.E.S was quoted saying in an interview on BET’s Behind The Story, “If I don’t really get with your energy anymore I have to protect my energy first. So that’s where the relationship is right now. It’s putting my energy first, self-preservation first and I just keep it moving. All that ‘he said, she said’, I’m not with all of that,”
